Oct 16th 2017

Hey Y'all!

Had a pretty great week this week. It has been super busy and gone by
way fast but we have seen some awesome miracles and we're excited for
the next week.

We had interviews with President and Sister Hughes during district
meeting Wednesday. Just love both of them. They really get missionary
work and love the missionaries.

Friday we had new missionary training with all the trainers and new
missionaries. We had to go all the way to Lexington, so it was a long
day. But we had lots of fun! It was great being able to be with other
trainers. Sister Andrus and Sister Stanley were both there and they're
just the best.

Other than that it's been a lot of tracting and service opportunities.
We've worked our tails off this week. We had a cool opportunity to
help move and stack wood for a couple in our branch. We were doing
good and got a lot done only to have her come out and tell us that we
need to leave a big space down the one side so that her husband could
screw in this big board/wall to keep the rain out... so then we had to
move part of the wood we just stacked. But it was still fun and she
fed us pancakes after so all is good.

While tracting we met Cassie. Cassie took lessons before but her
parents had freaked out and she now doesn't even know if she believes
in religion at all. But she said she had been feeling like  she should
try again and we just appeared on her porch. She is very hesitant and
we have our work cut out for us but we're excited for her.

Michael is still doing awesome! He came to church by himself yesterday
and is progressing rapidly. It's kind of amazing. He's on track for
being baptized November 4th and we are super excited for him!

I love and miss y'all! Have a great week!

Sister Hoyt
