Aug 28th 2017

Hey Y'all!

So it's been a crazy hot minute of a week here, but a pretty good one.

There's been a bit of drama and crazy stuff, but all is well in Zion.
Sister Wright is still struggling with back issues and can't do a lot
of work, but somehow we've managed to get a lot of good things done
this week.

We got to teach Michael again. He is so prepared! He understands the
gospel so well and when we ask him questions he basically just teaches
himself doctrine. It's pretty awesome. He is still really hesitant
about coming to church and setting a date to be baptized, but we are
excited to see him move forward.

I went with a member to teach Jeremy our sweet investigator on house
arrest. He still has some wild theories, but is really sincere as he
is trying to know God better and change his life around. He can't make
it to church till November and I have no idea when he could get
baptized, but we will see how it goes as we continue to teach him.

Linda still seems to have a lot of problems with getting to church. We
will probably have to change her baptismal date, and we will just keep
working with her.

Sarah was baptized this Sunday! I had to kill a lot of nasty bugs, and
a spider the size of my hand as I scrubbed out the font. We also had
to get up really early to fill the font and stuff, but it went
smoothly. It was so great being able to see her so happy and excited.
She is super solid and they're going to put her in a calling super
fast I am sure. So it was great!

I'm so blessed to be out here serving in Kentucky. I love the gospel.
It is so amazing to see it change people for the better. I love yall
thank you for all the love and support!

Love,
Sister Hoyt
