Howdee Yall!!This week has been an eventful yet slow one. I don't know how that
actually works but it happened. It's been a bit of a difficult week,
but we've seen some miracles and are going to work our tails off this
week.
Monday we had dinner and hiked up a creek with some members and ended
up having to pull their German Shepard up the bank full of poison ivy
to a truck because it got hurt. Luckily I didn't really get any except
for my feet I think. Hopefully it's still not on my shoes.
The bugs here have gotten awful. And for some reason they think our
bathroom is the greatest hang out spot. Nothing like getting in or out
of the shower and almost having a heart attack because some giant bug
from the pits of Satan is in front of your face. And for some reason
I'm always the one that finds and has to kill them. But all is well I
haven't died yet.
We have gotten so so quite a bit of service this week. And have seen
some awesome miracles with some less active and part member families.
We had many of them show up to church this week and even have a lesson
set up with a part member family that has had no contact with the
church for years! It's pretty awesome. Sometimes it's hard when you're
really not finding new people to teach or feeling like you're doing
much good, but missionary work is so much more than talking to and
finding people. It felt great to see just a little bit of the ball
rolling in this branch. Hopefully things continue to snowball.
Anyway I love and miss all y'all! Keep doing the amazing things you're
doing and remember to share the gospel! It is amazing and oh so true.
I love you!!!
Sister Hoyt
