Feb 20th 2017

Hello All!

Dont worry this email will be shorter than most. We are going running to enjoy the awesome 72 degree weather outside. Also I am terribly out of shape and need it lol.

Nothing crazy this week. We have done a lot of tracting and finding. We even got to tract Lovers Lane on Valentines day. Pretty funny. Sadly no one in a very loving mood.... Oh well. Thanks to those of you who sent me some cute letters this week. Loved getting them and they brightened my day. We found some cool potentials. One of them thought we were calling him a freak when we were really asking for Frank. And then we have a Spanish investigator and neither of us speak Spanish. So that is interesting sometimes. But somehow it works out. The spirit can speak in any language.

We got to work at a soup kitchen this week. It was so much fun. We worked with some older ladies and they were so sweet to us. This one black lady is the epitome of Southern. Shes super sweet but can be super sassy and mean if you get her going. I loved her.

We had zone conference this week too all the way in Hurstborne. We had to leave super early. But it was a lot of fun. we had some amazing training's and even got a new mission hashtag. Also got some super cute clothes from a missionary going home.

We also got to bike in the rain all across town one day. I also found out that my breaks didnt work..... That was interesting. But we were able to bike to our mission leaders house and he was able to fix one of them so I atleast have one set of breaks that work for the most part.

other than that its just been a lot of finding and hunting down people. Sister Hafen does not like animals and a lot of people here have pit bulls so I get to be attacked and licked by all the animals while Sister Hafen uses me as a shield lol. This one new investigator has 4 dogs. I thought sister Hafen was going to die. But they were all super sweet. Its fun. Transfers were this week but we are both staying!!!!! Super happy about that.

Oh we also got to do this cool skype in lesson with Sister Hafens home ward. Her dad is the bishop and was doing a class for all the seniors or maybe juniors and seniors, about serving a mission. They got to ask questions and it was just pretty cool. Sister Hafen did most of the talking obviously since its her ward, but I got to pipe in a few times. It was pretty cool. Her mom snuck in and was sitting in the background haha. But it was really cool to have a discussion with the future missionaries. We also get to participate in a mini MTC this week for our stake. We are going to be split up and get 1 or 2 girls as our companion for 24 hours and will stay at members homes and take them teaching and have classes like the MTC. So its going to be exciting. Ill let you know how it goes.

Ok apparently its not as short as I thought. But I tried. Anywhoo. Love and miss you all! Have a great week!
