Week one of being trainers, STLs, and doing my plan was a success!
Crazy busy but a success!
Our new trainee is Sister Reynolds. She's from Pima Arizona and is one
of 6 kids. She's a bit of a firecracker so that's always fun. It's
going to be a really fun transfer.
We found a new investigator this week. She asked for a bible and Book
of Mormon and when we went there she said she felt like she was led by
the Lord and wants to meet with us. So that's exciting.
We helped Mirian move this week. The cool lady from the trailer park.
She is super open to the gospel and we're going to meet with her once
the crazyness of moving dies down.
Bill is still Bill. He's so close to being baptized. Needs just one
good nudge in the right direction. He's struggling with thinking he
has to be perfect after baptism and is trying to quit smoking so we
are still working with him.
We had 3 investigators at church this week! That was awesome and
definitely a tender mercy since we've been working sooo hard to see
that happen.
We had the awesome opportunity to have a special MLC with Elder Lynn G
Robbins of the presidency of the 70. It was such an awesome spirit
filled meeting. He was so down to earth and loving. He talked a lot
about his talk being 100% responsible that he gave at BYU. It's a
really cool talk, y'all should read it if you get a chance. I wish I
had more time to go into some of my thoughts. I'll try to do more next
week. Always running out of time on Pday.
Last zone Conference of my mission tomorrow. That's a little insane.
Going to be a little weird.
