Hello All!!!!

Well transfers went well and I made it safely to Glasgow. Im sure I left an interesting first impression on my companion because within minutes of meeting me we have to go to the stupid hospital to get my blood drawn. Nasty vampires. But oh well. We drove down to Glasgow with 2 cute sisters from the ward. We were crammed in this little tiny car will all our stuff so that was interesting. Good thing I am used to long car rides with lots of luggage. benefits of moving.

Glasgow is the southern most sister area in the mission. I went from the most north to the most south. I am already loving Glasgow. Its been a lot warmer here. Which is sooo nice for winter. Its a lot bigger than Paoli and has an actual normal sized Walmart. The people here are really nice. Not a lot of anti Mormon we hate you crap. So nice. Our apartment sucks. But oh well I guess.

My new companion is Sister Hafen. She is super nice. Shes been really good to me this week since ive been sick most of the week.

We have already met a bunch of cool people. We are teaching this one old guy named Fred. He waits for us on his porch every time we come over. We are helping him stop smoking so he can be baptized in February. We also had one of our solid investigators move to Florida because her husband is being deported... so that was interesting. We moved another investigator into her new house. She has 3 little kids and the oldest boy whos 3 is a psycho. Super mean little turd.

Also had my first tracting experience this week. It was really fun actually. The people here are pretty nice. Met a completely crazy lady. She told some pretty wild stories. also found a girl that sells barbies and lives in this old 50s house. The only day that really sucked was when we had to tract in the rain and I was already sick so that didnt help at all. But we found this awesome lady. all of our appointments had cancelled so we were walking and trying a few people. This one lady let us in, accepted a baptismal date after the first lesson and then her and her 2 grand kids came to church for all 3 hours!! She told everyone she met that she was coming back next week!! Yayyyyyy!!!!!! Super excited for her.

But its been a good first week here overall. Im excited for the new adventures. I think I am really going to like Glasgow.

I read an awesome talk this week on conversion and becoming. It is so important that we continually do those things to become truly converted to this gospel. And more importantly to the Savior. conversion comes through action. As my dad would say its what we do with what we know. And the cool thing about conversion is that as we work everyday on doing those simple little things, we are already becoming the person our Heavenly Father wants us to be. We dont need to make these grandiose gestures or professions of faith. We just need to be faithful in doing the simple things. The Lord has promised to magnify our efforts and give the blessings we need. He just asks us to trust him and do our best.
I love this gospel! I know its the one and true gospel of Jesus Christ. I know it brings more peace and joy than any other way. I love being able to share that with others.

I love you all!!!
