Hey Yall!

Happy first day of spring!! (Also free cone day at DQ)

So I dont even know what has gone on this week. Its been a bit of a blur honestly. But some pretty cool things happened.

So we had zone meeting and exchanges Wednesday and Thursday. Which was super fun. The Zone Leaders drew a map of the Nephite and Lamanite land when all the big wars were happening in Alma and they went through and talked about the strategies they used to retake each city the Lamanites had taken and then applied that to missionary work and getting "out of the box" we put ourselves in and trying things outside our comfort zone. So pretty fun.

Then I got to go to Shepardsville or Sheep town on exchanges with Sister Brennan. It was so much fun! Had some really cool experiences and found a few new investigators. But the next morning we got to spend some service hours at the genealogy/history center in the city courthouse. It was sooo much fun. We got to sort through old documents and pictures. They were so cute and funny. I found one that looks EXACTLY like my cousin when he was little. I couldnt figure out why it looked so familiar till I remembered it in Grandma Greats home.

We had a few really cool lessons this week and even found 2 new investigators finally. One was with Fred. He was having a really bad day so we tried to cheer him up. We were talking about testimonies an he just started sharing his. It was so very simple and so Brother Roman but it was perfect and we just sat and grinned at each other. It is amazing to see people come to understand and love this gospel.

Another was with our sweet Shauna. She is still struggling with being angry with God and the unfairness of life. But my medical problems being similar to hers I was able to bear powerful testimony of the power of the atonement and the mercies of God. It was awesome.

The coolest one wasnt even a lesson at all but a very powerful moment. Tiffany has been struggling a lot lately trying to figure everything out on her own with 3 kids. She called us Thursday night having a giant breakdown. Sister Hafen just handed me the phone because she just didnt know what to do and was a little frustrated since Tiffany was ranting and crying and stuff. And I had no idea what to say so I just said a little prayer and then opened my mouth and honestly I dont remember much of what I shared. I just remember being very bold and tried to listen and think how she felt so I could be compassionate. God helped me feel his love for her and what I needed to say. I talked a while with her and when I hung up Sister Hafen just kind of looked at me and then said she was calling me from now on when she was upset. haha. But it was a really cool moment. Just another testament to me that God truly does know and love his children because I felt it and was able to be a messenger of that love. Missionary work is the bomb.

Speaking of Tiffany... She is getting baptized this week!!! And SO IS JUSTIN!!!!!!!!! I just sooo wish I could be there somehow. But I am very excited for Tiffany.

So just another crazy busy week here in the GKLM. Looking forward to an even crazier one this week.

Love Yall!!!

Playing bean boozled. She got all yucky ones except once.

 Free cone day at DQ!

So I guess they write into the mission president weekly or monthly not sure and share what they have learned or great wisdom. Well 2 of hers got picked for the mission president email that is sent out to all the missionaries. She was pretty proud about that. Hers is #1 and #2
They broke into their zone leaders apartment and left them a cake. And by breaking in they mean walking through the front door since they dont lock their door.
Our ward Mia maids sent all the missionaries a care package.
